1938 Rover 14 discovered in Hampshire

Post by NickDunning » Mon Mar 05, 2012 10:14 pm

Folks

Whilst walking his dog recently, Pete, our ever-vigilant landlord, discovered a Rover 14 sitting in an area off the road in Hampshire.

I went to see the car and the owner the other day - it's a 1938 Rover P2 14. She has no body, but the chassis and engine appear complete.
What's there appears sound (she's nowhere near as rotten as the Rover 20 we rescued last year).

She has a current V5 and the buff log book. She hasn't turned a wheel since approx 1971. She was a runner before the lay-up!

Album with lots of photos of this at:

Price is circa £400.

We could arrange collection of the vehicle (it will need lifting out from where it is) and delivery.

It appears the best option for the car to be sold complete - it would make a great special!
