An interesting find, I wonder if it is a home build?....and what a price

Can any of the Rover experts enlighten us?

At this price I think I would go for a early Bentley tourer for half of the asking price. I don't think this is realistic for a kit car

If I'm not mistaken, this has an SD1 2.6 powertrain and was built by Peter Mitchell who was head of BMIHT. I remember riding in this car at one of the West Midlands Rallies at Princethorpe, must have been over 10 years ago. It was sold to a German buyer and there was speculation in Freewheel at the time in relation to the neeed for leaded fuel, - none was available in Germany at the time.

180,000 euros seems a bit steep to me!

Having looked at the advert, it stacks up, wooden body, straight 6, (not sure about only 88ps though) recalling the 30's motoring style etc
