This from P4 Guild stalwart Eamonn Burrell, who is co-ordinating a classic Rover presence at this massive event :

"I have been asked to spread the word to Rover clubs that I am in contact with concerning the above event using the content of a thread at:

There will be several convoys up and down the country and clearly this one deals with the south east.

There have been a few classic Rovers at previous years’ events so it would be nice to see some more going forward. It is certainly a great day out and totally free of charge!

Can I ask that you publicise the event through your Club channels please.

Also, as we get closer to the event, there will be further information on Facebook relating to both the event and convoys up and down the country so it may be helpful to signpost your members there. I really enjoyed being part of the M40 convoy last year and keeping up with much younger Rovers and MGs J Please refer to the attached picture that shows me in my P4 “at speed” on the M40!
