P1 Glovebox sample colour / material.

I am currently restoring Snowdrops two gloveboxes, the original colour was the standard blue and I believe the material was blue velvet, with a base of thin black felt. Has anyone else replaced this velvet with a modern alternative, as I imagine that the original is now obsolete.

Was the colour similar or the same as the blue vynide, I have lots of this.

If anyone has an original sample for me to copy, I would of course pay for the cost of postage etc and return. I need only a small piece.
