Rover P3 1948 75 6 Light saloon : Exhaust Manifold.

Post by kartik » Wed Dec 07, 2011 5:44 am

Hi,

I am in the process of acquiring a Rover P3 1948 75 6 Light saloon.
Amongst the many parts the car is missing is the Exhaust Manifold.

I would only buy this car if I can get hold of the Exhaust manifold as it is critical to getting the car
on road.

please help me if someone has a spare or if you can suggest where I could get one.

regards
Kartik

Hi Kartik,

Good you now have more info on the car. As for the exhaust manifold I done some asking around in the UK and a RSR member may have one depending on exactly which one you need. He also has some other parts. I am sure we can find you a manifold from somewhere.

If you haven't found them already Meteor Spares are suppliers of pre-war Rover spares in the UK

Best of luck

I might have one at home as I was given a box full of engine odds and sods in the summer from an old guy who broke one him self for spares many years ago and still had these bits and although I havnt been through it all yet I'm sure there's one in there but as I work away as a lomg distance lorry driver I wont be home till Friday night, if you have no luck before I'll see if its still there and get back to you. Hi Steve,

Sorry for not replying earlier and thank you so much for looking up the exhaust manifold
for me, however I would take another few days to let you know, whether I would need it or not
as the car would be with me in another few days.

but, many thanks and warm wishes for a Happy Christmas.

cheers

Well, here is some awesome news, Thanks to Meteor Spares, I now have the missing
Inlet manifold, earlier I was told that the Exhaust manifold was missing but it was infact the Inlet.

Meteor Spare's is awesome and I would rate them AAA++++.
