Hello,

I have been restoring Flying Standards for a few years and recently someone notified me that there was a 1930's Rover 16 Saloon for sale. So after viewing the car I had to buy it. This is not a restore to sell project as the car looks great I am planning on getting the car on the road and keeping it. I am new to the Rover and I believe that the car is known as a P2?
The car was stolen and recovered in 1956 and for some reason the dash was removed. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement instrument cluster?
If I cannot find a complete instrument cluster I will be happy with the housing and I can collect the instruments over time.

Thank you for reading and I hope someone can help.
Ryan.

Hello Ryan,

What year is your 16 ? I have a spare metal dash from 1938 and some of the dials, only problem would be the cost of the dials as they have been professionally restored by Speedograph and I would wish to recover the investment.

Welcome to Rover.

Chris

I believe it is a 1938, I am sorry I couldn't be more clear I only just purchased it yesterday and paid a deposit. I am 100% sure it is 1930's whether it is 1936 or 38 I am not sure. I am interest if you could let me know how much. Many thanks, Ryan.

The chassis serial number will tell you which year your car is. The following link can help you:
