I have an unwanted pair of Luvax rear shock absorbers [with link arms] from a post war P2 [probably a 12] They were originally from a low mileage saloon scraped in the 1960's and do not fit my tourer. On their arms there is a circular brass plate with the numbers; 62 30X and 62 30Y The top plate [with 4 screws] has 6-47 and 5-39 stamped, Mfg.dates? No sign of leaks and all covered in their original dirt!

Would like to swop my spare headlight glass.
My 12t 47 has a pair of the original pattern "cats eye" glasses fitted. But my spare is of the earlier design, looking like a "decending comet" Anyone in a similar boat like to do a straight swop?
