Will this fit...

Post by wooster » Sat Oct 17, 2015 9:46 am

...my 1939 14 six-light? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/221913649998? ... EBIDX%3AIT
Obviously this is a post-war car and mine is pre-war. I only want the tool tray as mine is missing, but I need to be sure it is the right one.
Cheers

Hi Rich, It should fit, although the rubber tray looks a bit ropey, also not all the tools are there.
You could get a new rubber tray from Meteor Spares, mount it on plywood, fold a piece of thin
sheet steel or Ali and you've got yourself a tool tray. I've got an adjustable spanner which you
can have to start the tool kit off.

Thanks Chris. I did toy with idea of making one but decided it was beyond by skills. I might well take you up on the offer of an adjustable spanner. I half expected to see you at Rushdens Wartime Event last weekend.
Cheers
