Has anyone fitted seat belts to the front of the P3? Think the B-Post is out as the semaphore wires must run up there. However, I'm sure I've seen photos of seat belts that go over the shoulder/back of the front seat...presumably these are mounted to the floor behind the front seat(?) Are these static seat belts? Any other ideas would be gratefully received!

Seatbelts
Hi All,
Has anyone fitted seat belts to the front of the P3? Think the B-Post is out as the semaphore wires must run up there. However, I'm sure I've seen photos of seat belts that go over the shoulder/back of the front seat...presumably these are mounted to the floor behind the front seat(?) Are these static seat belts? Thanks.

Re: Seatbelts
Its on here somewhere - B post fitting has been done but IMHO its far too weak even without corrosion Floor mounting to chassis is essential

Re: Seatbelts
It's certainly possible to fit seatbelts to P3 front seats. I saw them in Eric Irons' concours P3 more than 20 years ago. Eric was a skilled engineer and would never have installed any mod. in his superb car unless it was 100% safe.

Re: Seatbelts
I know several people who have fitted it to the pillar but have reinforced it with a plate behind the trim.
