you might find what you need to know. The main difference is between the mechanically (hand) operated type as found on cars up to about 1937 and then from 1938 onwards they are electric. If you have a main/reserve switch on the dashboard then it's the later type and if you have a knob or rod at the rear of the car, it's the earlier one. This isn't meant as an overly curt reply, just that the two are quite different and there's little point in rattling on about the type you don't have !
