The link above is for BLM79, on Bonhams online auctions starting tomorrow. I will be intrigued to see where the bids reach and how many bidders there are. £40000 - £50000 estimated. It will make an interesting comparison with how 15/6 Riley Kestrels have been doing recently. At first I expected it to have the triple carb setup with those estimates but it's the standard single carburettor - easier to tune though. It looks like we will have to wait until the 6th of January to find out the result. I shall put my estimate in a sealed envelope to open again on the 6th !

That's a lovely looking car. Will it reach reserve, I really don't know, Rovers' never seem achieve the prices they should at auction.

Just in case anyone read this and thought 'I wonder what did happen ?", the outcome to date is as follows.
The car was on an internet auction for 10 days, estimate £40,000 - £50,000. The highest bid at the end was £31,000 with the reserve not met.
The car was then put on direct sale for £40,000 and didn't sell.

It then was put back up for auction at "No Reserve " in early February, the highest bid this time being £20,485 but the internet page with that result said "Reserve not met".

The latest, dated 19th February , says the car has been sold for £36856 including premium.
