Rover 14 Streamline 1934 Bonhams Online 20/12/24

The link above is for BLM79, on Bonhams online auctions starting tomorrow. I will be intrigued to see where the bids reach and how many bidders there are. £40000 - £50000 estimated. It will make an interesting comparison with how 15/6 Riley Kestrels have been doing recently. At first I expected it to have the triple carb setup with those estimates but it's the standard single carburettor - easier to tune though. It looks like we will have to wait until the 6th of January to find out the result. I shall put my estimate in a sealed envelope to open again on the 6th !

That's a lovely looking car. Will it reach reserve, I really don't know, Rovers' never seem achieve the prices they should at auction.
