Well the new electronic regulator seems to have restored charge to the battery! Easy to fit & uses my old cover, so looks right. I took the opportunity to restore the fuses to more realistic levels (NOT 50 amps on everything!)
I'll give it a good run next week to see if my coil overheating/condenser change has also worked. Meanwhile I have done the old Rally trick of having the other coil all wired up ready to swap over....
The fuel reserve changeover wiring has been located and works, so that will also be fitted …fingers crossed the expense will be worth it !
