lost radio codes

can anyone help? i do not have a code for the rover 25 that i9 ambuying as the seller has lost it and their battery has been flat. is there a way to get these back?

If you are confident it is the original radio, then there is a website where you can log on, and pay a fee and they will give you the radio code. They will need either the radio serial number which is actually printed on the radio, or the make. model and chassis number (VIN Number) of the car.
Unfortunately I do not have the website as my PC crashed a couple of weeks ago, and I don't have it on my laptop, but I seem to remember I found it easily by "googling" MG Rover Radio codes.
