JKR 950

Post by 47p2 » Sat May 30, 2009 8:50 pm

I've had an enquiry on my website about JKR 950. A 4 light Sport Saloon which I believe to be a 14hp from 1947.

This car is a barn find and when I went to the DVLA site it comes up as already registered!!!!!

I wonder if Mike Maher can check records for any details of this car for me please

Hello there John

According to the archives this car was in the RSR in the mid 1980's under the ownership of William Morgan who lived in London N16.
It is a 1947 Rover 16ss with chassis no 7430467, Green with Green interior and described as cond 'G' at that time, no other info or subsequent ownerships known.
As a barn find presume still cond 'G' ??.
Any idea of it's present ownership and/or location??
FYG I have already made a note on the archives of the query made via your website
Regards
Andrew

John
Thanks your reply and email, very interesting and I agree on the face of it something things seems odd.
I wonder, when it turns up, what date the V5 was issued and what info it gives on the cars taxation class ??? .
I see the DVLA site has the correct year of manufacture, engine cc and colour for the car.
Regards
Andrew
