Guy Worrall RIP

Post by GOY189 » Mon Aug 12, 2024 8:15 pm

I'm sorry to have to let you know that Guy Worrall died last week. Guy was our regalia officer and the owner of a number of cars including Rosie, his 1949 75 sports saloon that had been fitted with twin carburettors.

I am sure that you all join with me in offering condolences to his wife and family at this most difficult time.

Sorry to hear that news, Mike. We’re still enjoying the 216 cabriolet I bought from Guy a few years ago. We join you in offering condolences to his family.

Re: Guy Worrall RIP Funeral

Gill advises that Guy's funeral will be on Thursday 19 September, at Sutton Coldfield Crematorium, 539 Tamworth Road, Sutton Coldfield, B75 6LG, at 12.15pm. Gill goes on to say "If you wish to attend you will be very welcome and I would ask you to wear your Rover Register uniform" (RSR Polo shirts and Fleeces if possible)" In practice I suspect that this means wear a club badge/tie but please no black ties.

It would be a fitting send off for Guy if we had a good display of Rovers.

Thanks for the update, Mike
We’re away that week, so I’m sorry I won’t be able to attend. Please pass on my apologies.
