P3 Chassis repairs

Post by Willum » Mon Sep 26, 2011 3:11 pm

Hi Folks
Does anyone have a copy of the instructions that were developed to go along with the new chassis repair parts that were produced for the P3 about 2003/4?
I seem to have misplaced mine  and one way, or another, they look like being needed to get the old girl sorted out by whoever takes the job on.

Hi Willum,

Can you remember who supplied the bits?

Mike

Hi Mike
Apologies, I don't seem to get email notifications of replies to posts I'm interested in.
I can't honestly remember who I got them from. It's quite a while since. I'm sure I found out about the (limited) production run through Freewheel. I do remember driving to somewhere in the Midlands to collect them all - and the sizeable cheque

Hi,
Earlier this year I was looking for new sills for a P3 that I bought which had very rusty sills, though much of the rest was good!! I found this bloke called Mike Evans [p2roverman@tiscali.co.uk] who was still making sills with a friend of his. In true car lover style I solved the issue by buying another P3 which just needs the interior renovated (which I am doing now) with the promise that I may get around to the first car when I retire.............................. ;)

So, it might be worth giving Mike Evans a ring/email - he was extremely helpful.

Regards Neil Henderson
