Hello Andrew,

So I got the chassis numbers from the (3) P3s and the 1935 Streamline this evening.

They are:
RHD 1948 4 light 60 8230058

LHD 1948 4 light 75 L8431085

LHD 1949 6 light 75 L8413301

RHD 1935 Speed 14 531040

When I get time I will also forward the chassis numbers for the other running board Rovers.

All the Best

Hi Rovers,

Maybe I can help with parts.
I have a P2 (1946) and buying a lot P3 (16 1947) spares at the moment, so hope that some parts will fit on my P2. I think I will have things double in the near future so If you tell me what you need I will look for it.

Eric.

My 1947 16hp saloon FUE283 (sold many years ago) was also a RHD export model. I understand export models were finished with better quality control than home models, also I found the body number marked on the back of the bonnet sides.
On the subject of export cars, we thought all the 1947 12hp tourers were intended for export, yet some, included at least one in the USA, do not have the 'R' in front of the chassis number.
