1928 2-litre engine

Has anyone got a 6-cylinder 2-litre engine or parts for a restoration job? I have been contacted by a member who is trying to get his car up and running but the engine was stripped some years ago and I get the impression that he would rather put another engine into the car if possible. If not possible then a source of spares would be next option. As a final resort he might even pass the existing engine on to someone to rebuild but I've no idea if all the parts are there. The car is in Northern Ireland.

Sorry about the delay in this question but I have only just started using this RSR web site.
What parts are needed to complete this engine? Has another engine been found? Has the owner solved his problem.
Have just finished the assembly of one of these engines, not yet in the car so not tried running it, but may be able to help/assist with engine.

Hi Mike, I'll check but as far as I know the engine is still needing to be rebuilt. It was taken apart by someone who was going to do a full restoration of the engine for the owner but then lost some of the bits. The owner does not really know for sure exactly what is missing. Ideally he is looking for someone who can rebuild the engine for him that has access to some spares. I'll make some enquires.
