Hi, there is a clamp but I am away from home at the moment and cannot take a picture for you. I'm sure someone else can post a picture before I get home at the end of next week, if nobody has posted by then let me know and I'll take a photo for you.

Hi John, I'm not sure to be honest, if you post a picture I can tell you if it looks anything like mine.

The P2 has an alloy spacer between the engine block and the distributor, at the top of the distributor there is a clamp which can be seen in the images. This clamp has an adjustable thumbscrew for advancing/retarding the ignition without undoing the clamp. Hope this helps, maybe Stewart can confirm if the P3 is the same set up

No, it's different. I hope to be home tomorrow night but the P3 is not at home. I'll try to get to the barn it is in over the weekend and take a picture.

Hi Kartik, here are three views of the clamp in-situ on the car. To give you any more detail will require me taking the distributor and clamp off the car, which I will do if required but I'd rather not as I am bound to end up with problems getting the timing right again.
