Wire Wheels 18" from Autojumble
At a recent local autojumble I came across four Rover P1 1935 + wire wheels ( 18" with the single offset hub cap screw fixing ), I paid £40 for them. They are in ' barn find ' condition and will need restoration. I haggled the price down to £10 each and just wanted to save them for someone who may need them in the RSR etc. I am happy to pass them on at £40, due to the weight they will need to be collected. They are unshod and look as though they have been in a shed for some time. I am away until the end of May if interested, if no takers I will put them on ebay.

Chris,
could you post a picture or send me one on jodevong@gmail.com please?
I do not know what the hub cap fitting you describe means.
I have a 39 P2 for which I would like a set of wires and maybe your wheels could suit............any advice welcome, though

Hello Rollover,
The wheels have a single offset screw fitting for the earlier cars, yours would have the double screw fitting. The screws are what secure the hub caps. They would probably fit, but you would need also the earlier hub caps which I don't have but are around, I know that Mike Evans remanufactured some stainless steel ones. I have your email, I will send on photograghs after the weekend ( I'm off to Beaulieu ).
